Our high level of craftsmanship in working with both gypsum and lime plaster are ideal for the renovation of cottages, farmhouses and any grade of listed building. As well as traditional plastering, our range of skills incorporates full external renders, re-instating decorative cornices, ornate ceiling roses and other architectural detailing.

Medieval Cottage
Medieval cottager in Berkshire requiring extensive repairs to the medieval timber framework.
Works Carried Out:
We were commissioned to replace the rivern oak laths and to apply 3 coat lime render finished with a pigmented limewash.
18th Century Farmhouse
Grade 2 listed building where the original roughcast render had failed severely as had the later cement repairs.
Works Carried Out:
Removal of original render back to the stone substrate. 3 coats of lime render was applied with a Harling (roughcast) finish. The render was then finished with limewash.
House in Chalfont St Giles
Grade 2 listed building requiring internal and external lime plasterworks and reproduction of cornice.
Works Carried Out:
Lath and 3 coat lime plaster applied to ground floor ceilings and walls and restoration of the original cornices. In the rooms where the majority of its ornamental plaster were missing, we reproduced these items in situ.
